Laužikienė’s enterprise, company code 277420410, registered office at Marių g. 7, Ventės k., LT-99361 Šilutė district (hereinafter — the Data Controller), sets out in this privacy policy (hereinafter — the Privacy Policy) the conditions for processing personal data when using the Data Controller’s website www.ventaine.lt and the services of the Ventainė holiday and leisure centre (hereinafter — Ventainė).
By visiting Ventainė or www.ventaine.lt you agree to the conditions described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not visit our website or use our content and/or services.
In this Privacy Policy, a data subject is any natural person who provides their data to the Data Controller. By providing personal data (including data provided directly or indirectly when visiting www.ventaine.lt and/or using Ventainė services), the data subject agrees that the Data Controller processes it for the purposes and in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy and the law.
The Data Controller processes personal data in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania and the instructions of supervisory authorities. All reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect the data collected against loss, unauthorised use and alteration.
This Privacy Policy is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legislation. Terms used in it have the meanings given in the General Data Protection Regulation and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.
What information we collect
- Information you provide. When you visit www.ventaine.lt we collect information about how our services are used and automatically generated visit statistics.
- Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from public and commercial sources (as far as the law allows) and combine it with other information we receive from or about you, including from social networks, for example when you sign in with Facebook, Google or other accounts.
- Other information. With your consent we may collect other information about you, your device or your use of www.ventaine.lt.
You may choose not to provide certain information, but you may then be unable to use or purchase our services.
Processing personal data to order and provide services
For data subjects who are interested in or have purchased the Data Controller’s services, and for their representatives, the Data Controller processes the following personal data: first name, last name, date of birth, personal identification number, phone number, e-mail address, home address, identity document details, car registration number, relationship to the data subject and other information related to the service purchased.
The Data Controller undertakes not to pass personal data to third parties except:
- when ordering services provided by the Data Controller’s partners (e.g. recreational fishing, yacht rental);
- to pursue the Data Controller’s legitimate interests (e.g. debt recovery);
- when required by competent authorities under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Processing personal data for recruitment
For recruitment, the Data Controller processes the personal data voluntarily provided by a candidate to the extent it was provided. The data is received directly from candidates and/or from job advertisement websites and is not passed to third parties.
Processing personal data for direct marketing
Personal data is processed for direct marketing only with the data subject’s explicit consent. The data processed is: first name, last name, phone number and e-mail address. It may be passed only to third parties providing specialised services — to send e-mails or to tailor advertising on advertising platforms.
After sending a newsletter, the Data Controller may collect statistics on how it was used (e.g. whether it was read and which links were opened). You can unsubscribe by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the end of the newsletter, by writing to info@ventaine.lt or by calling +370 686 70490.
Processing personal data for security
To ensure the safety of staff, customers, visitors and their property, the Data Controller monitors the site and certain premises with video cameras. Video data may be passed only to law enforcement authorities under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Data retention periods
- after a consultation or request is completed — 1 year;
- after services are provided — 10 years;
- after the last recruitment interview and/or the end of employment — 6 months, unless the data subject has agreed in writing to a longer period;
- video surveillance recordings — 1 month;
- after consent to receive direct marketing — 5 years.
Exceptions to retention periods may apply as long as they do not infringe the rights of data subjects, meet legal requirements and are properly documented.
Cookies
The Data Controller may use cookies on this website — small files stored on your computer, phone or other device when you first visit the site.
Mostly only essential cookies are used, needed for the site to work, to recognise you and to make browsing easier. With your consent, the Data Controller may also use other cookies:

- Paysera — payments for services;
- Mailchimp — direct marketing;
- Google Analytics — analysis of visitor behaviour on the website, marketing campaign performance and device data.
Final provisions
Additions or changes to the Privacy Policy take effect on the day they are published on www.ventaine.lt. If the data subject continues to use the services of Ventainė and/or www.ventaine.lt after a change, they are deemed to agree with it.
Requests or instructions concerning the processing of personal data can be sent to info@ventaine.lt or to Marių g. 7, Ventės k., LT-99361 Šilutė district. The Data Controller replies and takes the requested action within 30 days of receiving the request.
